Strawberry Rhubarb Bambic celebrates our flagship farmhouse ale Bam Biere with an homage to the lambic beers of Belgium.
We brewed several lambic-style ales in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and aged them in oak barrels where they developed incredible unique and complex flavors. These ales were then blended with fresh Bam Biere and the combination was further aged on rhubarb and strawberry puree to add tart, funky and fruity flavors.
Golden in color with a delicate interplay of fruit and citrus aromas, Strawberry Rhubarb Bambic has a moderately tart acidity followed by strawberry and light rhubarb notes for a balanced marriage of sweet and sour.

On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, Iowa; served in a snifter.Hazy dark amber in color, with a thin white head and orange highlights. Good retention, nice lacing. Sour rhubarb and strawberry up front, with hints of farmhouse funk and a little bitterness on the palate. Light bodied, with a clean finish and some lingering lip-smacking tartness and a hint of umami. Overall, a very good beer.
