Brown pour, actually kind of thin, viscosity and appearance in terms of darkness. 1/6" thin head. Lacking bourbon aroma, started to wonder if this was one of those alleged barrel aged beers that was just made with a shot of something.
Same in the taste, this just didn't impart barrel or bourbon. Thin. Just one of the least interesting alleged barrel aged beers ever around.

Had at the brewery on 5/20/11. Bartender warned it was very strong at 9%. Beer looked exactly like Shastafarian Porter. Thin, brown, little head. Aroma lacked any bourbon. Smelled just like Shastafarian Porter.
Taste, lacked any bourbon, tasted just like Shastafarian Porter. Viscosity was thin for a stout. Was thin for a porter. Not chewy. This beer lacked in every possible way, with the exception that it didn't taste like it was 9%, but they probably just did the homebrewer thing and upped the alleged abv. I have my doubts as to whether this was actually Shastafarian porter, not barrel aged. Pass.
