for one, this isnt a saison as far as i know, its a pale ale. in any event, its an interesting one, with corriander and fresh ginger. it pours a hazy yellow color with a very frothy two inch white head. the nose is a plethora of indian spices, lemon and ginger as well as some decent hop presence. the flavor really features the ginger and citrus. it jumps right out of the glass, and is ultimately refreshing. there is a nice hop bitterness on the back end that lends itself to a quick finish and a pronouncement of the bright fruity flavors. the yeast is spicy too, but this isnt a saison (according to the menu, and my palate). mouthfeel is pretty good, its well carbonated and about medium on the body. id like to see this one lighten up just a bit in terms of body, become more of a session beer, but it is very drinkable in its current form. perfect when ice cold, this was my favorite brew i had at montana brewing.

A: Pours an orange/reddish color. A one finger white head forms and leaves little lace.
S: Sweet caramel malt. Lots of spice from the rye and clove. Citrus fruits and floral hops. There are lots of layers and they are all balanced perfectly.
T: Again, a great balance of caramel malt and floral hops. A great citrus and spicy character from the rye and cloves again.
M/D: A medium body and carbonation. Very easy and smooth to drink. A great session beer.
Another great beer from Montana Brewing. This would be one of my regular beers if I lived in the area. A highly recommended seasonal.
