6/20/05- On tap via samplers at the Montana Brewing Co. in Billings, MT.
Presentation- Two samplers poured into 4oz sampler glasses.
Appearance- Light creamy looking head with a golden color and excellent lacing.
Smell- Very fresh raspberry scent. Very natural rather then a reproduced scent.
Taste- Wow, this one tastes light a very subdued rasberry juice drink. Real raspberry taste rather than sugary or candy flavored one. Nice malty background. Maybe just a tad of rye flavoring.
Mouthfeel- A tad watery, but otherwise super creamy like a raspberry cream ale. Medium-low mouthfeel.
Drinkability- This is the real deal. Almost thinking of going back and getting a growler of this. Poolside or sitting on the deck on a hot day is best for this brew. Maybe even with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Best raspberry fruit beer I have had to date.

This beer has a strong fruit and rye aroma and a beautiful bright strawberry-blonde color. The rye really comes out in the flavor and the raspberry gives a nice light sweet finish to the brew.
