Image Hosting Sites

Postimage - the fastest and easiest. Select -files- your image from your gallery- upload- copy direct link- paste in photo icon on BA.
Imgur can be cranky - used to be my main, now use for backup.

imgur. free. easy to use. search BA for more in depth description of it. late last year a similar thread was discussing options. imgur occasionally is down for maintenance or overloaded but seldom have i been unable to access it for more than an hour

I use imgur too, and there's a certain format to pick that works best, but I do it all on my desktop computer so I can't add detailed instructions at the moment.

I use the imgur mobile app. I upload my images as "hidden," click "view," and copy the url. I then use the Image tag and paste in the URL when posting them to the BA forums.

 

I use ImgBB and have never had a problem. Click on BBcode full linked, then copy and paste. After you paste on BA, click the "More Options" button, then click "Preview" If it looks good, click "Reply to Thread".

PostImages for me. Upload photo, select “Hot Links for Forum” option; copy and paste directly into the BA thread.

Posting images on BA forums has long been a PiTA. PostImages has made it very easy. i do wonder what will happen when that site eventually goes under and all the great photo documentation on BA presumably would subsequently go away with it.

 

Never seen that on imgur either, fortunately!

 

I post almost daily, sick Fk that I am. There was a time I used Photobucket- have hundreds of images there. Then they decided they were going to charge a fee. Bye bye. Then.went to photobucket. Worked well for a long time. Than a few times around the holidays and in the summer there were 3-5 days, sometimes a week when.it was awal. Tried Postimage and thats been the easiest and quickest for me so far.

 

Photobucket to Photobucket? Either you're a glutton for punishment, or you were thinking faster than you were typing.

 

Haha yeah Im out of sorts today photobucket to Imgur...probably wasnt thinking at all at that point.

 

So it was imgur that went on the fritz? I think I may have run into that back then, but it's been working fine for the last couple months.

I even started to transfer my photobucket images over to imgur, but I need to check out ImgBB.

 

Now that I never thought of. Good Idea.
