There are plenty of non bitter IPA's out there.....plenty of them.

Better stock up on SSRA, it's going bye-bye.

For me this year, Troegs Cultivator was waaaaay easy drinking for 6.9%.

Last Snow 6.5% but you would think it was 4% while drinking it

Good call! I couldn't remember what I'd had recently that fit the bill, but you're right, Hi-Res for sure.

I'm not a big Hopslam guy, but that's a pretty good one if you're looking for something pretty easy drinking, especially for a beer that hoppy.

Zombie Dust also fits the bill, but Hi-Res and Hopslam are stronger.

Most well made beers drink smoothly regardless of the ABV. I've had smooth 10% beers but I've also 10% beers that you couldn't choke down. It's all about the quality when it comes to beer..

Glad to see Vitus make an appearnce. So underrated. I buy it about once a month but I feel it should be in my rotation at a greater rate.

I would even include the latest Sn Hop Hunter. The lighter drier mouthfeel leads to it feeling very easy to consume. 6.2% and the bitterness doesnt really come through at all.

For local options, I would include Marble Double White. It's a Witbier at 7%. Citrus tones with some tartness and yeastiness. Deceiving at 7% because its not overly sweet tasting

    For non-IPA:

    Abt 12
    Celebrator
    Troegenator
    Yorkshire Stingo
    Old Chub
    Dirty Bastard
    And various marzens and bocks.

A recent (to me) IPA that I found surprisingly not very bitter given the high IBU rating is Resin; to me it's very smooth and easy to drink.
