    Starting with our IPA Fest this December 15 in Boston, we're excited to launch a new, very limited, VIP experience at our fests. And here's the base information (subject to change):

    VIP Badge
    Be the beer fest rockstar that you were always meant to be.
    • Skip the entrance line and check into the fest up to 30 minutes before doors.
    • Access to the VIP lounge.
    • Access to VIP only bathroom facilities.
    • Swag bag filled with goodies.
    VIP Lounge
    A place to chill out for Industry and VIP badge holders only.
    • Timed tappings of VIP exclusive beers poured by special guests. *
    • Access to curated beers reserved for the lounge. *
    • Free packaged snacks. *
    • Free, private coat rack (based on the weather; use at your own risk).
    * While supplies last.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    When do VIP badges go on sale?

    Extreme Beer Fest: Boston (2019)
    • Initial release (sold out) was on Friday, August 31 at 12PM EDT.
    • A limited number will be released for sale on Thursday, December 20 at 12PM EST.
    • $50 + fees.
    How many VIP badges will be available?
    How do I buy them?
    What If I already bought tickets?

    Extreme Beer Fest = 200 per session, and limited to 4 badges, per session, per order.

    If you already purchased tickets and want to upgrade to a VIP badge:
    1. Buy the VIP Badge (Upgrade) for the session that you already have tickets for.
    2. Bring both tickets to the fest.
    If you haven't purchased tickets yet:
    1. Buy a session ticket AND VIP Badge (Upgrade) for the same session.
    2. Bring both tickets to the fest.
    Note: A VIP Badge (Upgrade) doesn't include access to the fest. You must have a ticket for the corresponding session, too. And if the sessions for your ticket and upgrade don't match the upgrade won't be honored.

    When do I get my VIP badge?

    They'll be issued upon checking in with a valid ticket and ID.

    When will you announce the beers in the VIP lounge?

    Closer to the fests. More to follow...

    Just got mine! Can't wait. I was very excited about the fest in general, but this adds a layer.

    Really excited to see this offered. So excited that I bought an additional session so I can spend one session in the lounge and the other session drinking beers. Nothing is better at a beer festival than exclusive bathrooms!!! Thanks BA for keeping the ticket count down low and making it somewhat exclusive rather than releasing a thousand tickets and only perk is a early entrance.

    Honestly, this makes me a little more likely to make a trip out of one of these beer festivals. Otherwise, there really aren't any festivals I fancy traveling over 4 hours by car or paying for any flight to visit.

    Jon, I had purchased the morning session VIP tickets but seeing that you purchased session #2 tickets I decided to purchase session 2 as well. It's all about the bathroom! So I now have VIP for both sessions.

    Todd, my friend and I each bought tickets separately to EBF, but he would like to buy us both VIP tickets. Will we still be able to get the refund? We would buy both VIP tickets under one email even though the two EBF tickets were purchased under two emails (one of which will be used to purchase the VIO ticket)?

    Update: It just got easier. No refunds will be required.

    If you already bought tickets, just buy the upgrade for the corresponding session.

    If you haven't bought tickets, you'll need to buy a ticket AND and upgrade ticket for the same session.

    Hey I bought 6 tickets to EBF, which was the limit I believe. If we all wanted VIP. Could I do that or would I not be able to

    Session #2 always moves quick, but if people don't buy within 8 mins they get released. "Unavailable" indicates this vs. "Sold Out."

    You would've had to sit there and hit refresh every few seconds (which many were doing) to catch the tickets being released.
