NBS BIF #15 Hints and Hauls: Was it Over When the Canadians Bombed BIF #14? HELL NO!

Oh no, I hope I didn't review-shame you! That was not my intent. I fully recognize there is more to this site than reviewing, and in no way mean to diminish your contribution to or participation in this community. But, when talking about stats and data the way that I do, there's not really a way to avoid the fact that you're a numerical outlier.

I did enjoy reading your review, though, so there's that.

 

See, and here's the thing about @Roguer and his amazing numbers - he has help! Yes, it doesn't work out for his when he has something that he'd rather drink all of (Do you share your PtE?) but for getting new ticks he can do so twice as fast!
Come to think of it, there may be others that operate this way too - how many of you share regularly with your significant other? I *really* wish mine enjoyed beer, but alas, not to be. Apparently I'm just a little jealous...

 

I often do. My wife isn't an IPA fan, though she'll try them. She likes stouts and sours, so I'll often share those with her. But, she's mostly avoiding alcohol right now.

 

I'm all solo these days too, it substantially cuts down on variety.

I used to share way more but she's been getting more migraines lately so she's been iffy about any sort of alcohol, possibly triggering one.

 

My wife likes beer, but is selective and prefers wine. I’m also limited by the fact that she prefers cask ale (milds, bitters, stouts), and generally complains if a beer has even a modicum of effervescence. That said, about once a month or so she will split an IPA with me if the mood takes her that way.

 

Rolling Rock, man does that bring back memories. I recall walking down the road in the Black Forest north of Colorado Springs with a case of that on my 15 year old shoulders. We were at the annual Outhouse race that they held. https://www.jimforeman.com/Stories/outhouse.htm

Out of curiosity I continued looking to see when it was no longer a thing. Didn't find that, but did see that the 2022 Black Forest Festival will be *bringing them back*

Unfortunately for me I will be in Colorado in mid May, not August. It would be a hoot to see one of those races again though.

 

Courtesy of @Roy_Hobbs it is funny as your note said I'm pretty local to Conshohokcen but have not had any of these beers or any of their other beers that I can remember, in fact I don't even see them around anymore. I will crack one open tomorrow! I'm still gonna try and hold strong to my tea and tincture Monday nights but if I do I may not be able to keep up...
