New BeerAdvocate Karma Titles

    Here's the new BeerAdvocate Karma user title ladder. Like before, we have eleven levels, however, I went back to the karma system circa 2005 (Grand and Grand High Pooh-Bah), removed, added, reordered, adjusted point increments, and whatnot.
    1. Initiate < 200
    2. Aspirant = 200
    3. Devotee = 300
    4. Crusader = 400
    5. Zealot = 500
    6. Pundit = 750
    7. Savant = 1,000
    8. Maven = 1,250
    9. Pooh-Bah = 1,500
    10. Grand Pooh-Bah = 3,000
    11. Grand High Poo-Bah = 6,000
    I'm going to start applying titles now and post an update specific to Pooh-Bahs in the morning.

    Great work. Love the new titles. Any chance we can get an honorary title bestowed upon jesskidden? Maybe something like 'Omniscient Poo-bah'?

    Was there an overall increase in Pooh-Bahs?

    I always liked Advocate as a title. It was my longest goal to hit it back when I started on the site. RIP (Not asking to be demoted or anything).

    Wow! It's been over 12 years in the making and I proudly accept my new "Pooh-Bah" title, and I will work to live up to the name. I have so many people to thank that this wouldn't have been possible without: Mom & Dad, thank you for giving me life, wouldn't be here without you. To my dudes, Dave, Stevex2, Drew, Dustin, Alan, Rich, Benny (and the rest of you idiots) thank you for helping me make bad decisions and good decisions and for going on this crazy journey with me!

    But most of all, I want to thank my wife. For letting me add an hour the wrong direction on road trips to hit a brewery, for spending countless Saturday afternoons at breweries, for letting me go to festivals and even tagging along, for beer related birthday and christmas gifts and for getting into beer with me - I love you and you are the most long-suffering person I know!

    Finally I want to say...



    FINALLY I WANT TO SAY Thank you to all of you wonderful BAs, to Todd & the mods for keeping the place going and I can't want to hit Grand and Grand High Pooh-bah with you all! Let's go! I'm taking the prize money and we're going to Disney World! CHEERS EVERYONE!!!!

    Thee worshipfulness sounds like a title I could emerge my self in but if I spend even more time on this site chasing a title my next title will be-divorced guy drinking beer alone in his apartment-and she'll take the dog

    For those that made Grand Pooh-Bah honors, do we have any Howard Cunningham (or Mr C as Fonzie calls him), or Sam Slagheap aliases already on Beer Advocate members?
