A light lunch for me today, Lupulus Blanche:


New one for me. Belgian style white. Barley, wheat and oat, coriander and orange peel. Sugar, yeast, hopps. Nice carbonation, 4,5% abv. Refreshing.

I had the least expectations among the AALs purchased for the tasting, and so far this holds the pole position among the four new to me AALs I've tried so far. I like the stronger kick on Ice beers, and this one avoids the excess sweetness you find at times with Ice and Malt Liquor offerings. Well done Miller!

 

I'm sure there's other good wheat beer out there but this one is best. Pinkies up royals!
