2016 Horizon Society

Verdure was just a beer we decided to do 5 variants of, THEN after the fact, decided to make two of them HS beers. So the variants on tap in the brewery so far were not even HS beers to begin with. We did make them available for squealer fills to HS though.

 

people bitching and moaning about missing out on crowler fills is ridiculous lol.


I live approx 4.5 hrs away and you don't see me whining sure I get jealous of the liquids avail but life goes on

Most have probably seen this already but those 1st half bottles as well as some of last year's stuff is now available for public sale (tap room only / no online ordering). This picture is from the Bros social media post Saturday so some of these may have sold through but shown are (L-R);

I think AB debate is still available. My buddy just sent the the list with the pricing on it and it didn't have ab debate marked out.

 

Edited the post slightly to reflect that uncertainty. I noted sold out since their Taproom Manager posted on their HS fb page on Sat that it was. Maybe they found more. Personally, I would be all over the Coconut Vanilla DC if I lived closer. Easily my favorite HS bottle this year so far.

 

I read that as to go bottles sold out. But who knows.

Anyone know when we find out what Horizon members will get with the Resolute beers and variants? Sadly I live too far away to make it this year.

I did not do HS last year so not sure when they announced to members what the limits were and when member ordering opened up but I would have to expect mid / late Oct. so they have time to figure final counts for public allocation limits.

 

Worth every penny IMO for what you get, one of the best brewery clubs value wise available in the country, I think I've got a new trustee that I'll pick up in 2017 from IA, he and his crew loved 2015 reg resolute, for that price it's a no brainer for me.

 

Bros just posted an update about HS pickups over Resolute weekend. Said an email would be coming at some point with more info. Goods news from this lengthy post is you can pickup all your HS bottles except Resolute/variants on Fri and then pickup your HS Resolute bottles and variants on Sat (at Resolute Day). So no need to necessarily have to stick around on Sunday if you are from out of town and want to head back home.

Horizon Society,

The staff of Brothers Craft Brewing want to thank you for an awesome first half. Now that the dust has settled, we are excited to get the second half started. We will be sending out an email soon with details on what to expect. Until then, here are a few clarifications for Resolute Day to clear up some questions that we have noticed on this forum.

1. HS weekend pick ups will be on Friday or Sunday (no HS pick ups on Saturday) due to the high volume of customers expected and the desire to provide our best service in the taproom. The number of pick ups per hour will be increased to accommodate all travelers who can only make it up for this weekend. Remember, you must schedule 3 days in advance and no further out than 2 weeks.

2. No unscheduled pick ups will be honored that weekend. The 3 days in advance aspect of scheduling allows us to prepare your order in advance. Our staff simply will not have the ability to prepare orders and provide good service that weekend with the high volume expected.

3. All pick ups on Friday will include everything EXCEPT Resolute or its variants. Resolute and its variants will not be available for pick up until Saturday at 2pm.

4. On Resolute Day, HS members WILL be able to also pick up any Resolute or its variants included with their membership or purchased online starting at 2pm. This will be part of, and in the same line as, pick ups of bottles purchased that day. These are the only HS bottles that can be picked up at this time. This does not need to be scheduled.

5. To pick up all of your HS bottles on Resolute weekend, you must either:
-Schedule for Friday and pick up your HS Resolute on Saturday during Resolute Day.
-Pick up your HS Resolute on Saturday and schedule for Sunday.
-Schedule for Sunday and pick up all of your bottles then.

Another great mail went out today. There are 3 new bottles (Dalliance, Verdure w/ Pineapple and Verdure w/ Passionfruit) available for order. Also details about HS 2017 with current members able to renew now.

Have any of these been on draft at the brewery yet? Other variants of verdure? Just trying to get a sense of if/how many bottles to buy.

 

Am I blind or do I not see any info about 2017 memberships?

 

Blackberry. Mango, Apricot and the base have been on draft in the tap room before. I believe Passionfruit and Pineapple are new flavors. Dalliance was also on tap a while back.

Thanks. The first few times I logged in and viewed the store only 10 items were there and the HS was not one of them. Not it shows up and there are 11.
