3 way ipa

just have to say that I had a 3-way back to back with an Alpine Nelson last night. Alpine Nelson by a landslide

 

I just visited Seattle from SoCal and was super impressed by this current 3 way IPA. Had it in Portland last year when it was brewed by Block 15 and etc. and thought it was okay. Ended up bringing home two 4 packs this time.

 

I had a Topcutter and a 3-Way back to back tonight and I have to say, to my palate these beers are in the same area code. Topcutter has a little more bitterness, 3-Way malt is maybe a little more biscuity. That is all.

 

2014 & 2015 collaborators need to be alphabetically swapped, because otherwise, it's just total anarchy.

I actually realized that after submitting my update reports. And unfortunately, whoever transposed my update requests capitalized the w in w/ and also capitalized the p in pFriem...

I tried looking at Untappd but it held my attention for about 3 minutes before I lost interest. I must be doing it wrong. Just like my parenting.

Went to Chucks CD last night to try and pick some up and they said ft george pulled all their cans due to lack of carb and it wont be in stock for another 2 weeks. Ended up with a 4 pack of overdub though so i guess it all works out.

 

I've had one can so far and it was perfectly carbed. Weird.

 

My wife finished the last can of a 4-pack last night. That can, like the 3 which were enjoyed earlier this week, was nicely carbed.

We will be opening another 4-pack this weekend. For science.

 

2/3 of my cans so far have had carbonation. May have to do more research later.

 

I hate disappointment ..... I am afraid to try and get disappointed..... I wish I had zero expectation for this beer.....

 

Don't expect an orange juice bomb. It's a pretty tasty traditional piney PNW IPA.
