    I've seen suggestions in other countries about buying gift certificates and such. I have to laugh at the thought of any place doing that here. But I'll ask anyway: Anyone ever heard of such a thing anywhere in Belgium that we BAs want to go?

    I finally heard of a place in Brussels doing a pay-now-drink-later kinda thing: the excellent Gist. Their setup is somewhere between gift certificate and a donation: https://www.kisskissbankbank.com/fr/projects/gist-support-your-local-bar

    MEANWHILE IN BELGIUM... Mmmmmaybe we'll get cafes open again June 8, but still to be confirmed based on how the initial phases of "deconfinement" go, and that's not bars but restaurants, so... clinging to whatever hope we get.
