Seems pretty odd since they are barely available outside of San Diego. I only know if them being in a handful of San Francisco bars on draft only due to the Green Flash Acquisition/Merger.

I wonder if Boston is the first market outside of CA?

perhaps just some "tap takeover" thing, but not actual "distribution"?

No bottles, draft only. I do know some Hoppy Birthday kegs are on the first delivery, in addition to some Duet and Nelson I believe, pretty cool no matter what makes it out here, fantastic brewery.

I'm sure it has something to do with Green Flash acquisition. There was a thread on here about Alpine coming to CT http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/alpine-to-ct.253173/

    Guess it was draft only.

Wow that's awesome thanks for the confirmation. Hopefully will be popping up in more places. Don't think I can make it to Meadhall tomorrow night.

Looks like GF/Alpine is expanding draft distro to east coast. On the Green flash events site, it lists a number of Alpine releases for Virginia and NY. I assume they are doing the same for MA, but maybe the GF rep for MA just didnt plug them into the GF site?

    http://www.greenflashbrew.com/events/category/beer-releases/

Either way - this is great. I have had Green Flash brewed Alpine beers in San Francisco (2 weeks ago and months ago), as well as regular Alpine brewed Alpine, and they are both really great.

Good to see Boston is one of their first East Coast markets......

My understanding is that there will be bottles coming later this year though availability will be pretty spotty for a while.

Does anyone have the details for this Alpine thing at Meadhall? They don't have a website or Instagram, and their Facebook and twitter haven't been updated in more than a week...

Just called...they have 6 Alpine beers on tap. Already tapped them all an hour ago. Hoppy Birthday, Nelson, Alpine, Duet, some red ale, and Captain Stout. Sounds sweet!!

Nice. Hope this makes it across the river to Boston! As much as I love Lord Hobo, that's too far to venture in this weather.

Had the Nelson, Duet, and Hoppy Birthday yesterday at Meadhall. In my humble opinion, Nelson is the clear winner. Pretty awesome beer. Others were sort of underwhelming. I don't know if I'd go out of my way to find it if it ends up being scarce, but if it has Dirtwolf-type availability on draft I'm all for it.

With so many superb East Coast breweries is this really worth any excitement?
