Hi all, So I'll be in town from Saturday evening to Monday morning, but am flying in and wondering if there's enough around the airport to avoid renting a car...obviously looking for the typical bottle shops/breweries/beer-centric restaurants, but other suggestions always welcomed. Thanks for the help fellas!
Not much by the airport except a Buffalo Wild Wings. But you can hop on The Max and be downtown in minutes.

Within a few blocks. You might want to hop the street car to get to Upright. If you have the day pass, you don't need a separate ticket.
i just found this...man, someone needs to make a map with all the max stops and all the breweries. I might get cracking on this... https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=z3wLrLBU2kwc.kHQ81jWxsRBI&hl=en_US
I mean, Zwickelmania is happening all day Sunday. Basically all the breweries are doing tours and special releases (See Breakside barrel aged Carmel Stout and BA Anniversary Beer). Just max or cab yourself in to inner SE Portland and go Hog wild. hair of the dog, deschutes, gigantic, base camp, laurelwood, etc. etc. etc. http://oregoncraftbeer.org/zwickelmania/ that link will tell you everything. good timing man
