WW has a bunch of em but they are more funky than sour. All breet, very little lacto in the ones I've had. I'm interested to see what my amorous will taste like in a couple years. I had an 07 Iris recently and it was one of the top 5-10 beers I've ever had. Something different entirely. Something awesome entirely.

They also had a dry hopped sour last time I was there called hoptart. Not really and ipa, but delicious none the less

Can someone please go through this thread and make list of actual sour IPAs that were listed.

Brettanomyces does not a sour beer make.

Hoptart wasn't dry hopped, but Eternal Sunshine was.

Arbor Demetrius. It's one of their double IPAs that they throw in gueuze inoculated oak barrels for 6 months. I am a big fan of it.

Bluejacket has done quite a few Brett Ipa's. Bretta World Peach was a sour-sh peach IPA. Not quite a true sour but as close as I've ever seen

Real Ale Brewing's Imperium has some wild characteristics to it, and the base beer is their Lost Gold IPA

"Pallet Stapler" by Barley Browns and Trinity. Crazy crazy beer. Really good but could only drink one glass as I felt it was melting my stomach

Also, double swingline. These beers are SOURED with LACTO prior to the boil, fermented with brett (but not soured with brett as brett doesn't sour) aged on oak, and finally dryhopped with some citrusy azz hops. Again, it is a true sour and described as an IPA primatif and DIPA primatif.

You live in Florida. Just stop at Publix and get some Jai Alai and Sour Patch Kids.

I visited this brewery Valentines Day weekend. Nile, the owner is very nice. I would definitely check his beers out if you get the chance. I believe all of his beers are aged in wine barrels. I got to taste a few and enjoyed all of them. I bought a bottle of The Old Man and Death.

the closest thing I can think of, and it's kind of a stretch, but Dogfish head 61 minute. the grape must adds a hint of sour.

Trinity makes a bunch of sour IPAs. All are pretty tasty, but they're too damn expensive.

BRETT IS NOT SOUR.......PLEASE stop thinking it is..........Many sours have brett in them but it does not make them sour.

I love Brett pale/IPA by the way......Round Guys Fear of a Brett planet is my go to fave.

    Enjoy

That Swingline series sounds great. Such a good idea. Wish others would do this with other styles as well......

    Enjoy
