Can't even remember the last time I had one. Never much cared for it, but loved the oaked version.

BTW, isn't, technically, AB not a "Stone" beer anymore? I thought they spun AB off into its own company?

$10! :astonished: If only. It's $15 by me here in Suffolk County, NY. :slight_frown:

Phew, I've been drinking this since the early 2000s and it was my first "regular" craft bar order along with Harpoon IPA). Am glad to see there are mixed reviews, the topic title really got me nervous. A few years ago I had nary a sessionable beer in the fridge for Labor Day weekend (all DIPAs/imperial stouts) so I went with some more sessionable (?) AB cans which were fairly new at that time but on sale for under $10 per sixer!

Being an outdoor weekend I did drink a few direct from the can rather than pouring into a solo cup and I did perceive a small difference...however like the sentiment by @Prince_Casual it was always a proper glassware beer previously and a lot of the enjoyment of the beer was visual. Love me some dark hoppy beers like this, Indian Brown by DFH, etc.

They spun off those brands into their own thing but it's all still under the Stone umbrella.

I've been drinking this beer since mid 2000s. I have not noticed a change. Great deal for a six pack, but I've also noticed some stores around me are selling the 19.2 ounce cans for $2 each which I purchase pretty often.

Can't say as I haven't had one in a few years. But I'll be damned if I'm not craving one now that you've brought it up...honestly I kinda forgot about Arrogant Bastard til now

It's not a beer I go looking for. I had an AB about two months ago for the first time in several years, so it is hard for me to recall. But like others have said - that Double Bastard was fabulous!
