When I mentioned infected I was thinking Tiberian Inquisitor that tasted and smelled like nail polish remover...if that wasn't infected then they owe every poor bastard that bought one a refund and apology for that disaster

Bully guppy was even worse than tiberian, it tasted and smelled like straight nail polish remover with a hint of windex.

Yeah, TI wasn't infected. It just wasn't any good.

Here now. Overheard in line by the 3 people in front of me (none are together): "do they have anything rare", "I heard they have gumball head", "ok cool I'm only looking for limited and rare releases"

    smh

Only the old label GBH has the Rare strain still in it.

My friends and I have a similar conversation almost every time we stand in that line hoping to annoy beer nerds. :stuck_out_tongue:

    (It wasn't us this time.)

The gumballhead isn't what annoyed me. What annoyed me was polling people in line to find out what was rare

I too have done this, and/or laugh at comments similar to what Jermy posted.

People can be excited for any beer or consider any beer rare and that's not what I was referring

See above. Has nothing to do with gumballhead. I don't give a fuck if someone thinks gumballhead is or is not rare

I did too and it's gotten much better with some age, I think you really have to enjoy the oak flavor to like it

So I was able to nab a Kill Your Boss. It is in collab. with the band EyeHateGod.
    Bottle Description:

"The Barrel-Aged version of our Black IPA brewed with our friends from the band EyeHateGod. Dedicated to the memory of Joey Lacaze."

I assume it is referring to In The Name Of Suffering as the Black IPA.

Here is a pick of the bottle/label, cap sealed in black wax.

I'm surprised its not Blue wax, as they typically stick to one color per year, right? And on top of that, I am equally shocked its in a wine bottle instead of their usual 750 over-sized bomber bottles.... I wonder if this was just a one time thing...

I was expecting to get the typical over-sized bomber with the silk screen label and blue wax (for this year) that they usually use for BA Releases...

Usually they stick to the same color all year, I just assumed that this was special for the collab.

This is the same bottle that they used for the Rue d'Floyd and Floyd d'Rue, but I figured that they used those since that is the same bottle style The Bruery uses...maybe they had a ton of extra bottles from that?

Didn't really care for In The Name Of Suffering... won't be striving to get my hands on Kill Your Boss.
