Yuengling. Sometimes I pour it into a Mug while at home. While shooting pool, I just slam from the neck to the dome....That doesn't sound right.

I agree. If I can't get them on tap, I actually prefer the taste of hefeweizens straight from the bottle. Not that they're bad at all in the glass. Just my personal preference, I guess.

I feel like most beers should be drank from a glass. The exception are cheaper american lagers like bud, miller, coors, old style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, etc. And then there is The Alchemist Heady Topper which should always be drank from the can!

Sometimes I get all fancy and pour my High Life into a mug. I also have found that I occasionally prefer Czech pils and Munich Helles straight from the bottle. This is not a hard fast rule, though. Stuff like stouts, dopplebocks and IPAs I like from the proper glassware. Looks better and tastes better. Sometimes a cold pale ale straight from the bottle tastes pretty good too.

Ya, it doesn't have much aroma anyway, but the taste is pretty darn good.

Only macrobrew swill. Ice cold, out of the bottle, chug it down... anything to mask its nastiness!

This years brown shugga was oddly better out of the bottle compared to in a glass. Almost a different beer.

It all depends on what type of brew it is. Also the color of bottle. If it is in anything other than a brown bottle of a can beware of the taste. I like both bottle brew and can brew.

I find that the vast majority of cheap macro lagers are better from the bottle. Firstly that's how they were designed to be consumed, but it also keeps them crisp and cool. A glass tends to make them seem a bit flat and nastier than they need to.
