Reminds me of boil overs when adding hop pellets to a home brew that isn’t quite boiling.

 

Tried a single ice cube before, not too much difference. I can imagine a ton of ice prob makes a huge head you gotta wait 5 Mins on.

However, as of late, I don't use any fancy glasses anymore and I typically poor my beer into a frozen Mason jar. Taste does mute some but if you've already had it before who cares. And, naturally, it warms up anyways. An ice cold all day or sculpin after work is so so good.

Mexican Chelada has lime juice and something that looks like Worstershire sauce but has a secret ingredient, ice and Negra Modelo that is fan-freakin-tastic. I learned it from my local Mexican Restaurante and can’t duplicate it. Yet...

 

I dated a woman a couple years ago who only drank her beer with ice. At first I simply questioned to myself but she said it kept it cold, and was less filling for her.

My grandma used to do the same thing everyday. I believe it was either Coors Light or Miller Lite, but the ice and salt I'm sure of. One beer every day, served in a small (maybe 4-6 oz glass), but never a minute before noon.

 

My wife put her Stone IPA on ice once. Greg Koch said it was no big deal though, so it's all good.

 

Must be quite a process, getting all that cider .....from their petunia trees.
