Luckily they've changed the keg design since then.

Saw them at Binny's yesterday. IIRC, price tag was $48.99. Could've been $43.99. I dk, I've slept and had a few since then. Either way, a lot more than $21.99!

I’m pretty sure I bought it at $33 at Meijer. $21 is a steal though!

here to agree with some of the above commentary - really liked this year's hopslam! Had one last night, it was an excellent snow shoveling beer!

Yeah, I finally grabbed some last weekend. Its my favorite vintage in recent years. The extra bite from the hops this batch is perfectly balancing out the honey sweetness.

Yeah it seems like the honey was dialed down a bit this year vs prior batches and that was VERY welcome.

Has anyone else tried No, Yeah? I you haven't heard, it is a new year round Golden Ale. I had a can tonight and like it a lot. Mild but nice flavor. Way to go, Bells!

Reviews on Untappd aren’t that bad “easy drinking” seems to be a common review

Is it a replacement for Smitten?

It's exactly what they said it was. I liked it for what it was, and could see it being a killer lawnmower beer.

Bell's is doing online orders for crowlers of Upper Hand Kriek, for pickup. In case any of you are interested in trying a fine product, from your above the bridge brethren.

Off topic, but Times of Grace is the best Neurosis album and one of the best metal albums of all time

I'm partial to Through Silver In Blood, but prefer the artwork for Times. I think both of those albums have a place on best metal albums of all time. I look forward to seeing them again at (probably) Thalia as soon as bands can tour again.

Also, if you haven't found this thread yet, you should.

I'll add to the off topic - My son picked out the 1,000 piece Oberon puzzle when we visited the Eccentric Cafe in the fall as a Christmas present for his mom (also my wife). We put it together over the last week and a half. It is the most difficult puzzle I have ever worked on. Not that I work on a lot of puzzles, but we've done a few to help pass the time during the pandemic. (Not my image, from the Bell's website).[IMG]

Black Hearted has officially hit Chicago. Now I just need to find a way to get ahold of some Cold Hearted (I will continue to say that I’m happy more and more breweries are kicking out IPLs.

Have your buddy from down here send you some Riggs IPL. Curious to know how it stacks up since you like the style. They've been making one for years and I'm pretty certain they can it now.

I was supposed to go there before a show at the Loose Cobra last spring, then the pandemic happened. Haven’t had anything from them yet, but I will.
