Ok, so I haven't paid as much close attention to the new releases of the past year, due to many reasons. However, I've lately had a jones for some red wine barrel stouts, and don't even know what's out there to ask for. What are some bottles I should look to trade for?

Nice post, I haven't had any wine BA stouts yet I don't think. Looking forward on seeing which ones you guys think are worth getting a hold of.

Not sure where in New Jersey you are located, but Magnify Point of Divergence was released a few months ago and it is excellent. It was not aged in wine barrels, but was fermented with a red wine yeast. I thought it had a lot of great vinous qualities to it.

Never had a better one than the De Molen Anchorage collab, Mud and Funk.

Funky B's - The Love Below (half wine barrel/half bourbon). It half counts....

Thanks for the feedback; as a result, I just completed a trade for the Cab BA Laika.

If there are others, keep 'em coming, as this is a style I certainly enjoy.

A portion of The Abyss is aged in pinot noir barrels and I can definitely taste a slightly tart red wine presence. I also enjoyed Prairie's Wine barrel Noir.

Abyss is great, and seemingly no longer a "rare" release after this year... Have seen it on shelves at several places.
