Well, Long Trail Brewery discontinued blackberry wheat much to my chagrin! I pled with them but they claim it was not a good seller.

If anyone has a line on a good blackberry wheat beer that I can get in keg form let me know.

I have a bunch of blackberry bushes in my front yard. This time of year there is nothing better than a wheat beer, my favorite for this combo is Franziskaner, with a few blackberrys dropped in it> enjoy!

This title is misleading. I thought Sam from DFH was brewing a beer with RIM to celebrate 2 products that died 10 years ago.

Ellicottville Brewing (EBC in upstate NY) Blueberry Wheat is very good for the style. Not a blackberry, I understand.

find a list of long trail distributors and see if they have any available? Would that even be possible? I have no idea how the beer industry works. I just buy the stuff available to everyone on shelves.

If you search the beer database for "blackberry" you get a good number of hits and many are wheats... whether they are distributed in your area or any good I couldn't say.

If all else fails, take up home brewing! I'm sure there's a Long Trail Blackbearry wheat clone recipe out there somewhere...

This was the biggest stretch to insult Dogfish Head that I've ever seen.

Does Sam Adam still make its Blackberry Witbier? I don't know how that tastes compared to the long trail one though.

So you insult the OP's choice of beer and you don't offer an answer his question. Is this in any way helpful?

I've gotten this for my wife a few times and it's kinda tasty. Probably not gonna get to you in a keg but I'd be willing to ship you a couple of bottles if ya like. Message me and sorry to hear that about your long trail.

Have you tried Founders Rubaeus? It's a raspberry ale, but not quite as tart as you might expect. In MO it costs about $240/half bbl, but I know a few of their beers are available in 1/6bbls. Cheers
