I've had every batch so far and I will say without a doubt THIS batch, canned 2/29 is fucking dialed in! very Nice work on this!
Very similar to Bissell Substance, though less hazy, which I guess the Bros would appreciate. ...

Depending on where in CT you are probably pretty close to Western Mass. where you can find it at a handful of package stores or just swing right up to Northampton. This batch was really good. I've been grabbing some every time I've seen it and have been sharing with my beer buddies. Most are really liking it while a few have been ruined by Tree House and now think every IPA has to be super smooth and juice like lol. Bldg 8 brewer Mike is doing a great job and love seeing the cans of this being pumped out pretty consistently now.

I like the beer a great deal, but I don't think it's at all like The Substance. Building 8 is a piney, resinous beer. The Substance? That's a NE style IPA. Both are IPAs obviously, but they are very far apart within the IPA category.

    No offense. Just sayin'.

Is it ever at Table & Vine in Springfield? And if so, is it a specal secret beer you have to ask for or do MA retailers not play that bullshit that CT ones do?

I've seen it at Ryan's and Casey's. Table and Vine should have it.

For my job I oversee northern Connecticut in the Springfield market. One of my stores is walking distance from table and vine

Have to disagree with you on that the substance is pretty dank I believe that use Columbus

No prob. I just get a different experience with the aforementioned beers. Anyway, I sometimes like drinking with people who perceive the same beer differently. It helps me notice things I might not notice.

Fairly easy to get in the area. The times I've gotten it it's either been from the brewery or off the shelf.

Maybe a bit in the falconers flight mix. Its much brighter than it is dank. I dont see the comparison at all. Not every beer has to be compared to something less accessible.

Table & Vine usually has it right in the fridge in the back. That's where it was this Wednesday: $13.99 a 4pk, $4.99 a single. I passed to try House Lager, and am regretting it a little now that I hear this batch is so good. Excited for the Double IPA they should be rolling out soon.

Thnx. That's a steep mark-up on the single! I might have to make a border run for House Lager and Bldg8!!

Because you have to search for any instance, however small, of a topic being broached before. It's in the TOS agreement goddammit. Follow the rules. You can start 100 posts in a row about favorite IPA's though.

I just picked up a case for $65 at the brewery. It's delicious and well worth it. It's refreshing to walk out of a brewery with a case of beer in 5 minutes.

Just getting through my first 4 pack of BLDG IPA. Overall I like it, trying to think of what other IPA it is most similar to, and I am coming up blank. To me it is not in the same flavor profile of the juice bombs from TH and Trillium, not as dank as west coast Modern Times IPAs, maybe closest to Zombie Dust but still pretty different.

If you gave it to me without telling me what it was, I am not sure what I would come up with. A good beer, that I will enjoy again.
