Sounds horrible based on the name but you never know until you try it.

Odd Side has a coffee blonde ale. Actually really good. You have to like coffee. Which I do. Some IPAs are good with coffee too.
Maybe find a place with singles before comitting to a 6er. :beers:

I have not seen it around but honestly I would not seek out. With all the local guys and others making stellar beers like this why reach for a watery commercial version.

I am willing to bet you see more and more of this from the big boys, they are desperate to break into these flavors/styles in order to capture more of the market.

Insight in MN makes an awesome Coffee Golden Ale called Banshee Cutter. But, of course, Insight is a better brewery than Blue Moon.

Jumped the shark, and to be honest, a little bit too late. I'm bored.

It's not bad. Generally speaking, I like the oddball Blue Moon beers. For a while their seasonal mixed packs were part of my regular rotation. They seem to have dialed their line-up waaaay back in the last year, though.

    Good to know!
Odd Side Bean Flicker recently started using different coffee companies each time they brew/release it. Just like Epic did with Son of a Baptist. Coffee really shines when brewed right. If I see a single of the Blue Moon I'll give it a try. :beers:

Went to beer fest this Oct. 98% of beers had coffee in them. Seemed to be this year's "gose" which was the rage last year.

    Pretty sure that's not beer.

The TTB thinks it is - COLA lists it as a "906 MALT BEVERAGES SPECIALITIES - FLAVORED" just like countless "craft beers" flavored with vanilla, coffee, chocolate, fruits and herbs., etc.

    Labeled "Wheat Ale":

I would give this a try if I see a single

Will have to try it if I find it. They had an Oatmeal Stout a few years back that was delectable.

I'm not opposed to trying this, as I usually enjoy coffee anything.

Yeah many years ago I used to receive their seasonal packs as gifts and what not and for the price they weren't bad at all.

Ahhhh. Insight. Surly, Summit, and Fulton get all the pub in the TC's. But Insight does some great quirky tasty brews with some of the best names. Sunken City is a tasty Saison, with a solid vinous quality. But I miss Hell Chicken. Great beer. Epic name.
