I will be driving through the Morgantown area and am looking for a bottleshop that is not too far off the interstate where I can get some local brews. It doesn't have to be in Morgantown, I'll be going up 19 and hitting 79

Haven't been there in a while (I moved away in 4/13), but I think it unlikely that things have changed much in terms of the local bottle shop scene. Anyway, when I lived there, your best bet in Morgantown was the Suncrest Town Centre Mall Krogers. From reading over the reviews, it sounds like the store has likely improved considerably since I was there, largely in part due to the significant improvement in distribution in Morgantown (neither Bell's nor Founder's were available when I lived there, but my understanding is they are now). There are several Kroger's in town I believe, but this is the one you want to be sure to visit.

All that aside, depending on which direction you're heading to from Morgantown, you might want to also consider this place:

It's about a 45 minute drive to get there from Morgantown, but at least when I lived in Morgantown, I would frequently make the trip. Both selection-wise and price-wise, the McHenry Beverage shop was better by far than any store available in Morgantown.

    Good luck.
