Wisconsin grocer Brennan's announced that they are closing all 5 of their stores (2 in Madison, 1 each in Monroe, Oconomowoc, and Brookfield) by the end of September. Brennan's is unique in that they buy craft beers from other states that aren't otherwise sold in Wisconsin.

Has anyone found a truly exceptional beer from Brennan's not available elsewhere is Wisconsin that I should pick up before they close? Thanks.

Early in my craft beer experience I liked some of the Tommyknocker beers, particularly the Maple Brown Ale. I'm not sure if Brennans still carries Tommyknocker, or even if I'd still like it now that my palate is a little more experienced.
Most of the other stuff I used to get there (Avery, Sand Creek Limited Release Double Stouts), I can get in other places now.
I'll be more sorry about losing access to the summer sausage options than the beer selection.

The days of Avery and Lift Bridge being Brennan's exclusives have come and gone. Both are fairly omnipresent in WI. Now, the only exclusives available there are Fort Collins and Woodland Empire. Kind of a big shrug.

I'll miss the cheese selection more than the beer offerings.
