Brew Day Question

    You should get a juicy IPA from Citra/Galaxy/Mosaic...

    When I've keg-hopped I've put the hops in a mesh hop bag, and added it at transfer (PRIOR to CO2 pressurization)

    Read the 2nd post in this thread to see what happens if you add hops to the keg AFTER pressurization/CO2 gas dissolution :grinning:

    I generally leave the bag in the keg for the whole time. Most of my kegs get emptied within a month and I've not noted any off flavors.

    I have removed the bag after a week on one occasion...but it was because I exeperimented with adding an obscene amount of hops to the keg (something like 8oz) and there was a horrible vegetal taste to the beer for the first few pours...so I panicked (only a little) and removed it.:stuck_out_tongue:

    Oops also forgot to add that I just immediately put it in the kegerator.
