Seemed more fitting to place here than in Beer News. Just received the newsletter with the following update on potential rupturing of cellar'd cans.

Someone should place one of these bad boys in the middle of a road to see if the name rings true.

Interesting. I don't have any Pothole Stout but I have saved two cans of Tart Side and Wizard Burial Ground for another day. It would be a pisser to lose them.

I had one can of Escoffier slowly leak out on my a year or two ago, but definitely didn't blow the top out.
Still have two good cans as well as Wizard Burial, Tart Side, and Pumpkin Tart. All have been at cellar temp, but will monitor closely.

I recently had a problem with a Wizard Burial Ground, when I grabbed one of the cans from my cellar I noticed it felt like it was only half full, then I noticed a bunch of moldy beer residue on the box it was in. I couldn't find a single hole in the can and when I opened it there was still carbonation, actually too much carbonation.

I think I am opening my wizard burial ground very soon.

Interesting read! I have a can of PHS that has been sitting in my cellar for a few months. Checked it and no bulging of any kind. Do I put it in the fridge and play it safe or keep letting it sit at cellar temp and roll the dice? Think I'm going to roll the dice!!!!!

Just curious for those of you that are cellaring some Pothole Stout, have you noticed an improved taste? My thoughts would be that this beer wouldn't gain much from cellaring, but then I could be way wrong.
