Brussels visitors, a question with you in mind about addresses on this site. I’ve noticed that the historical quirks of the city may create some confusion. Brussels is a mashup of 19 historically separate communes: http://www.brussels.irisnet.be/about-the-region/the-communes-of-the-region. So, addresses on this site often appear by the commune. For example, Cantillon http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/388/ and the original Moeder Lambic http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1227/ aren’t listed as Brussels, but no local would dispute they’re part of the city. OK, they’re famous, but people searching in Brussels for a good store won’t hit useful ones such as SBS http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/12391/ or this Cora http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33142/. For others, like Beer Mania http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/4481/, it helpfully shows up as Brussels, not just Ixelles.

Is this confusing enough to matter, and does it matter enough to mention to the mods?

I realize that the above is confusing. Let me rephrase the question this way: have you ever searched "Places" on this site for stuff in Brussels?

(If there are some yeses, I'll suggest the necessary to the good people who run this joint. If not, I'll go back to nursing my Dupont.)
