CANBIF Spring 2014

    I have been exchanging emails with FondueVoodoo to get CANBIF going again. Here are the rules/details of how we intend to proceed:

    - Registration: Email/conversation sent to FondueVoodoo and Phyl21ca with full address (City, Province) before midnight on May 4th.
    - Participants who have never traded need to inform us and should plan on acquiring a styro shipper.
    - Please also inform us if you have regular trading partner on BA.
    - Pairing will be available by May 7th.
    - Willing to ship between May 8th and May 25th.
    - Amount of beers to be sent: 110-150 oz (which is approx 5 x 22 oz bottles and 1x 12 oz bottle). At least half of the bottles should be local. The rest can be an assortment of US/other provinces.
    - Swag is not required but is optional.

    Let FondueVoodoo or myself know if you have any question/concerns.

    I have decided to sit this one out guys, but I expect this one to the best CANBIF ever. I will be watching the threads and am looking forward to seeing some great pics of the hauls!

    In past years we have made a separate thread for hints and hauls where we included preferences etc, but we could always just do in this thread instead.

    I'm afraid I'm going to have to sit this one out too, but I would like to please encourage anyone who's not sure about it or on the fence as to what's involved to post here and express their interest. I wasn't at all sure about it last time around, but decided to have a go - and it was an absolute riot. Very enjoyable and an experience I'd recommend to all Canadian beer nerds.

    Looking forward to another round.

    I've been collecting a plethora of ultra-light lagers in clear bottles and storing them right next to my furnace all winter in anticipation. Someone's going to be super lucky! I might have some other stuff though too.

    I'm gonna sit this one out, cause I'm at that point where there is no way I can reach the ounce limit without rising over 200$ of beer with what I have currently at home... :slight_frown:

    No one from BC is aloud to sit this out :wink:!! We need all the West coast peeps we can get to balance out us ON/QC beer nerds; otherwise we are just going to be swapping LCBO releases :slight_smile: !!

    I hear you and I do apologise! The issue I have is not having enough space to get any more beer - I've got a box on it's way from Ontario momentarily, and currently about 60 bottles more than I can cleanly store in my appartment to get through!

    Could I send a box and not receive one? Maybe everyone could vote at the end and whoever sends the "best box" (whatever that would entail) could get a little BC thank you box from me or something.
