Anyone like these bad boys? I've had no experience with them, but I dont bottle much and I don't feel like dealing with messing up the priming sugar. I'm specifically looking to bottle a few sours that have been sitting for a long while and will have close to zero residual sugar left. Anyone used them on sours? Thanks in advance.
Most people say no and stick to priming sugar. Example of said people; http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/carbonation-tablets.218682/ http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/issue-with-muntons-carbonation-tablets.191485/ http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/coopers-carbonation-drops.86928/
Seems like everyone advocates the old fashioned method, something I was hoping to avoid. Oh well. Thanks
They work great if you're only bottling a gallon or so. If doing a full batch, go with the traditional priming sugar approach.
