    Hi all,

    I just moved to the bay area and really want to go to Moonraker's can releases, but I am too lazy to drive. If anyone is looking for a person to carpool with then pm me. I can tell you a bit more about myself. Also, I can definitely split the gas money.

    Yeah I'm too lazy too. I just wait for their stuff to show up on tap at places like South Winchester BBQ, IBU Milpitas, Good Karma, etc. Which is fairly often.

    Sounds like a great roundtrip option. Probably only costs about $200. No problem.

    Just plugged it in , $215 one way. This is seriously a great post, I would pick you up the rare times I go up there. The few times I've drove there I always picked up a buddy just cause of the length of trip.

    @threezus

    Right now, since you don't want to drive you are probably better off just trading for cans with some Sacramento Locals. If you have Cellarmaker cans from SF it would be quick and easy in most trade groups on facebook or even here at BA.

    But really, it is a great area for a day trip. It is right at about 3,500 ft elevation where the big pine trees start. You may just want to look at the website and pick a can release you want to try and make a day of it. https://www.moonrakerbrewing.com/can-releases

    Also more info in our Moonraker topic here at the BA Pacific Forum: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/moonraker-brewing-thread.508037/page-5

    :slight_smile: Haha...

    I was more kind of talking about hiking around the nearby Forsethill area. But yes, Auburn the city is near 1,500. Foothills really get going after that to some cool areas.
