One of the greatest ideas in the history of great ideas. So chill and fun today.

Definitely a great idea. Super chill got to actually enjoy all the beers being poured today, didn't feel rushed in any way. Plus it was gorgeous today, great day to be in Glenwood.

Gorgeous day, awesome beer. Nectarine Fruit Stand every bit as good as Apricot FS.

Nice. I'm glad everyone had fun. My buddy went for the first time and really liked it. Said the B1 East Bank was the best thing he tried. I think it was his first time trying any Casey beers actually. Scored me a few bottles too. See you all next month.

The B1 East Bank was my fave, too, although the plum and nectarine fruit stands were both really tasty as well.
Since breakfast is now an option, I'll toss out a recommendation for Rosie's Little Bavaria. It isn't very Bavarian, but they have a lot of great breakfast items.

Only picture I took yesterday while in "line." That East Bank was amazing but what made the day was the awesome weather and laid back vibe. Such a well run event and a great crowd.

What is B1 East Bank? I just bought an East Bank a week ago in Denver, is that what I got?

    No, you didn't.

B1 is Barrel #1, or the first batch.

It's not what was floating around town during GABF. B1 is Batch 1

@deGardebrewing they basically do the same thing, except $20 goes to a pour & glass vs. to charity, which Troy could do as well... the only reason why it's a 'right' to buy Casey and not deGarde is just a quantity issue, I imagine once Troy ramps it up, it'll be similar to deGarde and he can get rid of the ticketing as the bottles will likely last the initial weekend (if Troy ever opens more than 1 day per month)

Still very new to the CO scene. Sounds like this brewery makes some pretty tasty brews. I've never seen them at the 2-3 stores I shop at. Do they not distribute to GJ? Glenwood Springs is not that far from GJ. Are they kinda like Paradox, Russian River, Jolly Pumpkin....?

    Cheers!

The only retail places that regularly see Casey are in Glenwood and up in the mountains if I'm not mistaken...Although I'm pretty sure that Rockslide did a collab with Casey and should be released in the few weeks possibly, so you may see bottles around GJ of that.

Almost all of Troy's beer is sold at his monthly releases, and anything else goes to a very specific set of stores in Denver and the Roaring Fork Valley. I don't think anything has made it to Grand Junction nor do I think it will.

Your best bet is to drive the hour and a half up the road to a release.

My buddy was in Aspen on Tuesday and managed to snag a bottle of OAK THEORY at a restaurant and split it with his wife for lunch. They both rated it a 5/5 on Untappd and said it was one of the best beers they have ever had.

Even if you can't make a release, there are a few store that probably have bottles in that region. Four Dogs in Basalt, Cooper's in Glenwood Springs, and Basecamp in Frisco being likely locations.

Don't expect to sit a Balaton Cut sitting on the shelf or anything, but you could see Low End, Saison, East Bank, BdG, or one of the larger batch Fruit Stands.
