Picked up a 22oz bottle of this today @ Chuck's Greenwood. Having never seen a Central Waters beer for sale in Washington before, I of course took it to the counter to purchase and, while swiping my card, asked the guy @ checkout how/why they have it. He said something about it being distributed by Local Option or some such explanation. Is this legit, or just another Chuck's mule beer (see Bourbon Fred/Cherry Adam)? I paid about $13.
I bought a bottle of this in August, probably from Bottleworks. It's a collaboration, I think, so distributed the same as Local Option which is available in WA. I enjoyed it.
as indicated, its a collaboration, brewed at CW. Doesn't stack up to the rest of the barrel-aged lineup for me, and that price is considerably higher.
