Too funny! Mr. Bourbon County is a young beer expert in his area? But I thought he came up in the 70’s and 80’s? That wouldn’t make him particularly old but also doesn’t really make him young. Confused and amused. Good shit. Got a good laugh out of all this. I would have emailed him back the same thing - “relax and have a beer man.”

That's very different from what you're doing here, of course.

Back when they announced that that they were building a brewery in Chicago, I was really excited that we’d get even fresher Lagunitas than we usually did. In the years since then, it’s actually gotten worse here in the Cleveland area. In fact it’s so bad that the only Lagunitas I’ve bought in the past couple of years are the BBA stouts (which are awesome, and relatively cheap).

Good attempt to be clever, but what am I upset about or triggered by? I told the guy his posts were hilarious, he responded, and then I told him it was sad he got so mad. Good try though.

In addition to the newish hazy memory cans I just saw pounders of phase change on the shelf. In more interesting to me news I also just noticed 12 pack cans of lucky 13, one of my old lagunitas faves.

I just nabbed a 12er of Lucky 13. She's a big girl. I will share liberally with friends as this is a beer most people know nothing about and certainly will not buy in a 12 pack.

Have noticed over the last week or so that my local Safeway hasn’t had any Hop Stoopid bombers. Tonight I also noticed they didn’t have any six packs. i wonder if anything is up with that.

Ya its a real sentimental one for me. She, along with other lagunitas bombers, were real instrumental in my move to.tasty beer. It'll be fun to revisit it after such a long break and with so much nostalgia layered on those flavor sense memories
Hopefully they are waiting for a fresh batch. That is a beer that does not move near me to the point where I stopped even looking at it because I was tired of the let down

Just wondering, the people that work there aren't "owned" by Heineken. Some entity owns everything you purchase or patronize, so why not enjoy the beer if you think it's good, and support the business that these employees rely on?

The way folks misuse then and than is really a failure of our education system. Back than I knew how then worked, OK?

That is nonsense. You realize you can choose who you patronize, right? Not all businesses, breweries included, are owned by conglomerates. You don't have to buy beer from AB InBev, SAB Miller, MolsonCoors, Heineken, Diageo, or Carlsberg. You also don't have to eat at Olive Garden either, you can eat at a real Italian joint that is family owned. The dollars you spend are a vote, and I try my best to spend my money at companies I believe in. BeerAdvocate itself supports independent craft brewers. #seektheseal

That'll happen to anyone after 5 or 10 of them, depending on the individual and the ABV of the beer.

    LOL!

This reminds me of a rerun I saw recently of a Goldbergs episode where they said Fa Jeat Us for fajitas.

    Cheers!

Ok, it's nonsense. So is your iPhone or Android, your Ford or Chevy, your SmartTV, your Levi's, your Nikes, your Dockers, your fridge, your toothpaste, your toilet paper, or whatever corporate product you have. Where do you draw the line? Apparently beer is your line in the sand - good for you.

Just don't kid yourself that because you won't patronize a corporate-owned brew, that you're a rebel against corporate culture.

Sure, obviously because you own a phone you can't make objective decisions on literally anything else :poop:
