That thread on the mystery box was a great read. Does anyone buy Moe's excuse that it was someone else who put that mystery box together?

So as a fairly doughy BA, who can recommend a GOOD site to buy beer online from? I live in Oklahoma and have limited access to...everything but Prairie.

I really like craftshack.com and bringonthebeer.com. Matthew runs the latter (BotB) and is one of the best guys I've done business with. I'd also do some research on the topic from the front page of BA. Here are a few threads to start you off:

Just checkout their shipping policy/costs/state restrictions/etc. before buying. Good luck!!

Wouldn't hardly call those "lines" either, waited in a line about 50 people back, probably only waited about 5 min for a pour...
No line for picking up your beer either.

They'll save the masterpiece for their "cellar sale" that way they can double the price

Fuck. I'd been meaning to go check them out soon JUST to finally try Cantillon, but I don't want to get ripped off.

That would be hard anywhere in SoCal. Most stores charge at least double the belgian retail price. But that's the premium you pay for just getting to buy it I guess, without the hassle of trading.

I dunno if this post was speculation or not, but let's say it isn't and they really did buy the 70 bottles of Masterpiece for $47 a pop. If they mark it up just a mere 20%, which let's be honest they'd probably go higher it would run ~$56 for a bottle of BEER. One that must be drank in a matter of hours.

Is there anyone here that would actually pay that? I can name exactly 0 bottles of beer I'd pay $56 for. Especially not 50/50 Eclipse no matter what barrels were used.

Mmmmm... that reminded me of the pre-Stone anniversary breakfast at Lost Abbey earlier this year. DDG for ~$50, drank it in about 15 minutes by myself. So delicious and so worth it
But seriously, that was probably the only situation of this kind.

I know but some will buy it. They do have fw18 anniversary for 30 bucks. And yes it was speculation however some people have said they saw him get that many.

Some people paid $100 for CFH this year. I tried it and I have to admit that it was better than the $50 bottle of CFH I bought.

(Which, consequently, was marginally better than everyone else's $35 bottle.)

I've purchased from this site ages times. I get seduced by their cellar cleaning sales. One of the times I bought a Stickee monkey and to qualify for purchase that time I had to but $75.00 worth of other products. So I did and about a week and a half later got a call stating that there of my choices weren't in stock even though the site listed them as in stock and I checked them out. Even though it dropped my order to around $35 not counting the Stickee they let me keep it as part of the order. It was nice of them to honor that purchase. The only real knock is that it seems to take a long time to get the packages shipped. I do like that they sell logo glassware just wish there were more to choose from.

DDG was only $40 at the tasting room. I only know this since I too bought one as well as a track #7 that was hiding back there.
