    Not sure if there is a better place for this but does anyone know if Darkness is going to hit Chicago distro again this year and if so do you know when?

    I don't know for sure, but would bet money that it makes it's way to Chicago since they even sent some last year. As far as when? It's released up here in MN the week after Darkness Day.

    Darkness Day is the last Sat of Oct, so yes it's normally hits distro the first week of Nov, but this year the last Sat is pretty early in Oct.

    It should definitely get distro'ed here again but I HIGHLY doubt we see as much as we did last year. Surly is having a bottle count of the exact same as last years FIRST batch. A SECOND smaller batch was brewed last year so Chicago would see bottles and the Minneapolis area got a second small distro of Darkness as well.

    I need to double check my source again but i was told darkness next week in distro, at least for whole foods. i will confirm.

    This years bottles count is the same as both batches last year.
