Just some details on our upcoming release. I know this hasn't seen any press, and we don't do any marketing, so figured some of y'all might be interested and not have heard.
If this comes off as marketing, please report it, or have the mods delete it. I'll add just the same as last time though, that extra attendance won't sell us any extra beer. It'll just make it a more fun party!
Looking forward to hosting some fellow beer fanatics again!

    From our FB page;

    Coming Up:
The last of our large quarterly release events!

    When & Where:
Saturday, November 22nd, from 2-6pm at our brewery in Tillamook (6000 Blimp Blvd)

    What:
We will be releasing six new bottles (Others TBD) which are listed below. In addition, we will have a large number of taps and bottles pouring for the event and rotating throughout the afternoon. We will be featuring some of our new releases and favorites, as well as some excellent surprise guest beers and archive selections.

    Cost:
It will be $5 for entry (only if you plan on consuming alcohol), which includes a very cool NEW glass that is yours to keep.
Most glass pours will be $3/8oz (some guest and/or vintage pours may be more).
As always for our events, bottles, draft, and entry will be CASH ONLY to help keep any lines to a minimum. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

    The Bottles:
    Café Samson ($14/btl)
A strong dark beer, with nods towards the imperial stout style, but run through our coolship. Aged in American oak barrels, then infused with Bali Blue Moon coffee beans from Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters. 11.5%abv,

    Maple Samson ($18/btl)
The same base as Café Samson (minus the coffee). Aged for an extended period in Rye Bourbon barrels, then transferred for secondary aging in Bourbon barrels that previously aged Maple Syrup. 12%abv

    Bu Stone ($9/btl)
Our Berliner Weisse inspired beer aged in oak barrels with prodigious amounts of Oregon grown Peaches and Apricots. 4.4%abv,

    Bu Berry ($9/btl)
Our Berliner Weisse inspired beer aged in oak barrels with huge quantities of Oregon grown blueberries, blackberries, and boysenberries. 4.4%abv

    Dark Harvest ($12/btl)
An old favorite back again. A blend of Bourbon barrel aged strong dark sour ale blended with barrel aged fruity and funky wild Saison. The end result is a dark farmhouse ale with a moderate acidity, nuanced yeast expression, and soft barrel notes. 7.4%abv

    Earl Desay ($12/btl)
A blended wild farmhouse ale aged in barrel for over a year. We added a large amount of characterful Oregon buckwheat honey to the barrels to induce a secondary fermentation, then conditioned it with Earl Grey tea after blending. 6.2%abv

Initially, limits will be set at three bottles each of the Berliners and Dark Harvest, and one bottle each of the Samsons and Earl Desay. If there are any bottles remaining at 4pm, we will remove purchase limits.

    The Draft & Bottle Pours:

    Ours:
    Bu Weisse
    Early Desay
    Cherry Raz Bu
    Cran Bu
    Café Samson
    Stone Bu
    Maple Samson
    Berry Bu
    Beaucoup Desay
    Dark Harvest
    Nelson Hose
    Archive Bottle Selection...
    And more...

    Guest Pours From:
    Jackie O's
    Block 15
    Perennial Artisan Ales
    Side Project
    Fort George
    Jester King
    More...

Please bear in mind that all kegs may not be tapped pending consumption/demand. Likewise, we are at the mercy of guest pours arriving in time, though we expect at least one offering from each brewery being offered.

    More Details:
As always, we cannot accommodate minors or pets due to our licensing.

We encourage you to imbibe responsibly, and there are numerous affordable local lodging options, as well as taxi service available. Please ask if you need assistance.

We do not have food service available on premise, but you are invited to bring food if desired, or enjoy a meal post event in Tillamook.

If you desire, you are welcome to bring a bottle to share for the release event. Please remember, bottles MUST BE OPENED BY STAFF per Oregon law. We will unfortunately have to ask you to leave if this regulation is not followed. In addition, we will have a large table area set up as the ONLY bottle sharing location. Thank you for your understanding.

Lastly, please rsvp on this event page (Facebook) if you are coming so that we can prepare to the best of our ability. We look forward to celebrating with what we hope to be our best event yet in our newly expanded space. Thanks to everyone for another great year!

Marketing? psssh, word of mouth is already super strong. I'm sure it'll be a blast and lots of folks will be there. I can't believe there may be more than 6 bottles, that's crazy. I should just have my work send part of my paycheck to De Garde...

The one thing the bros ask, for events such as this, is that it be added to the event calendar before posting an announcement such as this. Also, once the announcment is posted in the forum, they ask that a link to the event on the BA event calendar be included in the announcement.

Anyway, it's an easy problem to fix. I've now submitted the event for inclusion on the event calendar, and once it's been added I'll edit the original post to incude the link.

Otherwise, this sounds like a great time and I know I'm looking forward to going!

Dark Harvest is "an old favorite"? Has that been released before ... or is it just a recipe you've done before for personal consumption?

An old single keg blend that we did for Beermongers, this time a larger blend.
The barrels are slightly different this time being PVW 10yr versus Rye Bourbon, and red wine versus neutral oak, but the output is very similar, with a touch more oak impression.
    Hope that helps!

Damn, looks like I'll be stuck in Seoul still. I did bring a bottle of Nelson Hose with me though so I'll be there in spirit.

Final draft and bottle list updated. Some are pretty limited, but a great selection.
We may still have a bonus surprise or two in store...
It's been a crazy week getting ready on top of 'normal' brewery work, but we're excited.

And yes, for those who've asked, we are open our normal hours on Friday and Sunday!

Between your beers and the guest beers ... that's one list is ridiculous. Someone might get stabbed if there's not enough Abricot to go around. ;-)

I really hope the Engine House #9 beer is actually called "Best Beer of the Day?" and that's not just a placeholder. If not, I nominate that as the name for any future collaboration beer you do with EH#9.

Slightly OT, I was just looking at your website, and, well, there's not much there. Do you post info somewhere besides the site? A kind BA sent me 3 bottles (The Archer, Blu Bu, and Saison Desay) that I'm going to open at a bottle share Sunday. Really looking forward to finally trying your beers.

We're a small team of four (including taproom). We pretty much focus on making beer and throw the occasional Facebook update out there. We're hoping to be able to spend our time more that way as it keeps our cost, and ultimately yours, down. More marketing/digital presence ultimately means more money, and we really just want to keep consistent bottles on our shelf. And some projects going into distribution (one week!) of course!
But yeah, our website is oft neglected. Sorry!

Edit: Enjoy the bottles! A few favorites there. Which Desay variation is it if you don't mind me asking? I need to know how jealous to be!

Haha. That's not the E9 name, but good call for future use! I generally just find myself putting Shane's beer over anything else amongst the good company.

People may get stabby (not really, this isn't the Midwest). Simple fact is, there just aren't enough of some guest bottles for everyone. It's a choice; offer it and disappoint a some, or don't offer at all? I think that everyone will have an opportunity to try a couple/few, and that makes me happy. It's a big and happy making list!
If a goal is to drink everything, not only does my liver cring, but I suspect there's some set up for disappointment.

If it's any consolation, I haven't had most, and likely still won't have them!

@deGardebrewing Do we line up near the roll-up doors or the front doors? I've never been to a quarterly release and am curious. Thanks.
