    Couple questions:

This may be common knowledge, but it seems to elude me.
    1. What is the difference between a regular Bu and an Imperial Bu?
    2. Keepers. I'm guessing this is their cellar club. How does one get in?
    Cheers and thanks in advanced.

Keepers is their club, but has been eliminated for next year. Imperial Bu's are just stronger versions of Bu's, though still low-ish in alcohol.

What are price points on their bu's? Their website doesn't give much info. Are they readily available where you can just walk in and buy them?

I just asked Mark (one of the brewers), and he said at least 6-9 months.

I'm guessing this is an ok thread to post some de garde questions. I'm not looking for rare whalz but their "standard" offerings.
    1) Are their beers available at any stores or is it brewery only
    2) Are the standard offerings available at stores easy to get or do you need to be lucky
    3) what are the prices of the standard bottles if they are in stores
    4) Any good bottle shops around happy valley

My mom and step dad are going out to Oregon for a wedding and they would bring back a few bottles or ship some home.

    Thanks for any replys

http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/de-garde-availability.272887/ is probably a good place to start.

Their imperial Bu's tend to be around 5-6% (not really imperial, but imperial for a 3-4% Berliner). I've found their beers at Belmont Station, New Seasons and the brewery while I'm here in Portland. The Bu Weisse, Blu Bu and Raz Bu run around 8$-9$ and imperials/keepers ran around $20-25 at the brewery (haven't seen them out at bottle shops). I liked the Blu Bu the best, but it seems most love their Raz Bu better (I get a more complex taste with better barrel in the Blu personally). The regular Bu Weisse may be the best Berliner I've ever had...impeccable tartness with nice balance!

I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Keepers bottles were included in the cost of membership. They had no individual price, and there was never an option to buy additional bottles. Where did you get that price?

Were any Keepers bottles ever made available for onsite consumption?

They had a nice selection of the imperials/keepers when I visited this past Friday. I tried to buy a couple to take home (the Imperial Purple Raz Bu especially), but they only allowed on premise consumption.

Never seen Bu Weisse for more than $6.

He's talking about the fruited bu's at the brewery. Raz and Blu were both $9 at the brewery. The regular bu should never be more than $5 or $6 anywhere. Plus, the keeper's beers he is talking about are the on premises bottle list beers.

If you have a car and don't mind a short drive, then pretty clearly the Arch Bridge Tap House over in Oregon City is the place to go for de Garde stuff in the PDX area. They often will have a dG keg on tap, and I've never been there when they didn't have at least 4 or 5 or bottles available (to go or for on premise consumption). This past Sunday I picked up a couple bottles of Raspberry bu for $10 a bottle, and also a bottle of Fauxder for $11. I think at present, they have 7 different dG bottles available.

Doesn't hurt that the owners (Tood and Gene) are good guys as well.

Not surprised the ticket release for the August quarterly party was hush-hush on here. I'll be there +1, and it sold out same-day
