Does Crooked Stave sell bottles to go? If so, is there anything special right now? My old man is in Denver for work and was going to have him pick me some stuff up.
They have bottles. I haven't been for a while, but at the time they didn't have anything that wasn't on the shelf.
A few weeks ago they still had plenty of Orgins, Double-Dry Hopped Vieille, and one of the St. Bretta seasonals. They should always have standard bottles of Surette and Vieille as well. You can find many of those on shelves in Denver, but I'm guessing none of those make it to Indiana (maybe Surette or Vieille).
Their listing says "Beer-to-Go: Yes" http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/25191/ They definitely have bottles.
The Source almost always has a small vertical of different Vieille and Surette batches available in bottles. Interesting comparison when you try the different blends side by side since they all taste *slightly* different. Besides that the bottles available at The Source are essentially shelf beers and can be picked up in any (good) bottle shop around town.
