Parents are going to NJ this weekend and will be driving through Pennsylvania and NJ and will end up in the Freehold and Farmingdale areas. I am aware of seekabrew. I like stouts, barleywines (English), sours, barrel aged stuff etc. Any stores along the way they can stop (that's convenient and quick) and get me some non GA distro stuff? Thanks

    Here's the route

Stateline liquors is 1 minute of of 95 north st Maryland delaware border...you can look them up online and email them an order. ...you can also order online for pickup at total wine in Delaware also 1 minute off 95 north before getting into PA

How far are they willing to go?? They will be within about 20 minutes of Kane, NJ's best brewery IMO, and can grab you some growlers. Kane will fill any growler so send them up with a few of they will take the trip.

Try beermenus.com and search the liquor stores in the area to see what they have.

Great suggestion here on State Line... well worth their visit, and not far off their route on 95... you probably wouldn't need any other stop, unless you're seeking NJ beers

Not buying in PA will certainly stretch your dollar. If there are certain breweries that are distributed to PA but not MA, DE or NJ that you want to get I recommend Capone's, Craft Beer Outlet, Southampton Beer Store and Trenton Road Takeout.

Craft Beer Outlet and Trenton Road Takeout are easiest to get to via highways. Capone's and the Beer Store are a little less so but nothing outrageous. TRT is most likely the cheapest of the four stores.

Capone's just got some Russian River Supplication and they can reserve beers for you. (BM me for the email address if you want)

For the OP - that's the Naamans Road location. 691 Naamans Rd, Claymont, DE 19703

I'll just throw in another vote for State Line. I always stop when I'm driving down 95. So close to the highway and they have a great selection. Give them your email address and you get 10% off too. (or at least thats what it was last time I was there). And especially with this news about them getting everything together for your parents. Seems like a no brainer.

This is really the only answer you need to know. State Line is also worth dropping in if you like scotch, the selection can be hit-or-miss but they usually have something worth buying in stock.

Be wary of Total Wine in DE, though - distro for some beers can be spotty for Delaware, you might not find stuff there.

Oh okay. Well the Google Maps link you posted in your first message shows the I-95 route. So they are planning the I-81 route instead?

Back when I lived in Jersey I used to go to Max's Beer Wine and Liquors on Village Center Dr in Freehold. Had a decent selection.
