Edit function?

To help clarify: is this happening in the 007 BIF thread or that section of the forum?

I can edit my posts within 15 minutes on other sections of the forum, but cannot do so in the 007 BIF thread (I have not posted elsewhere in that section of the forum so cannot elaborate much on my experience). As in, I post, and often re-read with the post formatted, but could not edit any posts in the 007 BIF thread. I can do the same in other threads and even in this one.

I noticed my inability to edit BIF posts happened about the time the Beer Advocate home page changed recently, if that helps out at all chronologically or with narrowing down on the error.

 

I just posted in the 007 BIF forum was able to edit maybe 6 minutes after posting. One time I was not able to edit after like 3 minutes but someone had liked the post. Does someone liking the post you made make the edit button disappear?

 

Just to clarify: does this mean there is no time limit as in you can edit in these threads indefinitely, or there is no time limit as in you have zero time to edit, in other words, you can't edit.
