No favorite here! This is the one style that I just don't like. I guess that just leaves more for those that do like it!

    I still like Avery Rumpkin.

Tried 2 Road's - Road's Mary's Baby this weekend. Pretty good, but I think I liked the name better than the beer.

Dogfish Head Punkin has been consistently excellent over the years.

    Cheers!

ST's Warlock is my favorite 'darker' pumpkin beer and I've enjoyed Pumking in the past, even though I know all too well of the love it/hate it that most people have for it. New Holland's Ichabod has always been my favorite in the more normal class with an honorable mention for DFH Punkin.

Looking forward to doing an annual pumpkin beer tasting to see how my palate has changed, but thus far this year I've been impressed with Griffin Claw's Screamin' Pumpkin (looking forward to getting my hands on some that has been barrel-aged this year).

    Of all time...

Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine, aged in brandy barrels, from Almanac - everything I ever wanted in a pumpkin ale - complex, decadent, boozy, a hint of vegetal character, plenty of autumnal sugars and spice... 12% abv...

    Followed-up by...
Avery's Pump[KY]n and Heavy Seas The Greater Pumpkin - both bourbon barrel aged, sweet and boozy with pumpkin and spice - big and lush...
Rum Barrel Pumking and Avery's Rumpkin were similar, but aged in rums barrels which brought a pineapple-like tropical fruit character into the mix, which I really liked...

Uinta had a Oak Jacked Imperial Pumpkin ale (oak aged, 'natch) that I really liked, too.

These big boys aside, I have gotten Pumking, Smashed Pumpkin, and Punkin' every year for the past 4 or 5, and I'm likely to do the same this year...

New Holland's Ichabod is probably my favorite, ignoring more extreme (e.g., "imperial") beers. I also like DFH which, BTW, ages well, and several others including Terrapin. I must admit I too often find over-spiced "pumpkin" beers.

Favorite is probably Cape Ann's Fisherman's Pumpkin Stout. Favorite new pumpkin beer so far this year is Schlafly's Pumpkin.
