Heading to San Diego 2/20 with the gf for a few days and just looking for general advice. Would like to hit a couple breweries, and while I have some favorites beer-wise, I'm looking for insight on the best places to see in person. We are also looking for great restaurants, with or without great beer, but would of course prefer great beer. Lastly, what are a couple great bottle shops to check out? We'll be staying in the gaslight district, but will rent a car to visit places if needed. Thanks in advance!

@Xul your info is awesome, thank you! Someone needs to do something similar in my area. If there's anything going on 2/20-2/23 I'd love to hear about it...also, I can bring anything people may want from NC if anyone's interested in an IP trade.
I'll add something not beer: My favorite non-beer restaurant is Bali Hai. Food is fantastic and the Mai Tai's are world famous.
