    Hey guys,

Traveling up to the Glen/Conway area of NH for a couple days this weekend. Gonna have the kids so no time for bar hopping but I was wondering if there are any bottle shops or kid-friendly restaurants with good taps that I should stop by. I'll be doing a bit of driving around the White Mountains, too.

    Thanks!

Glen Beverage at the intersection of 302 & 16 has a great selection. Typically when I'm in the area I stop at Moat Mountain brewpub for a pint or two. It's a kid friendly restaurant. If the weather is nice ask to sit on the porch. There you can enjoy the great view of Mt. Washington.

Red Fox in Jackson is a family restaurant with good food & solid (for NH) tap list. Place is very well-run too, great service the times I've been.

Second Moat Mountain--kid-friendly, with good beer and food.

I don't know if that'll take you anywhere close to Littleton but if so check out Schilling. Excellent beers and they serve pizza so the kids should be happy. Nice little downtown there too.

No problem. Both of the Maine places usually have great stuff. Ebenezer's is traditional and European focused. Gastro has lots of styles and a huge bottle selection too.

Gastropub is a converted gas station, still has active pumps (at least last time I was there), just so you don't get confused if you choose to go. Looks funny on the outside!

Its pretty good, as are most of their offerings. It was on tap last weekend and I think is still around in cans. I bought a 4 pack a little over two weeks ago.

It is very balanced, not a juice bomb, but it does have a fruity hop flavor profile. There is enough bitterness and piney resin to keep things together.

Moat Mountain and Flatbread are my go-to spots in that area for eats and beer.

I was actually @ Moat Mountain on Wednesday & Call it a Day was on. Nice beer, but I think Moat's strength has always been with their lagers. The Pils & Helles were good as well as the Festbier.

Fun place with good food too.

Worth a trip to Saco Brewery on your way to ebenezers. Have had some decent beers there and the people there are nice.

Moat typically had the freshest cans around if you want their beer
