You should be able to find sculpin in cans. 21st amendment has some solid beers.
    Check seekabrew for any others.

well for local, its tough to beat carton as far as local canned beers. but theres other great ones too from sixpoint, oskarblues, founders, smuttynose, ballast point, dc brau and many many others

itd probablly be easier to just say what sort of stuff you're looking for and we could say if its available here in state.

Almost anything from Neshaminy Creek is good

I'm in MI so can get Founders. I also can get my hands on Oskar Blues and Sculpin. So I guess I'm looking for something I can't get. Preferable a really good IPA or Dipa. My buddy is shipping some bottles out to me and I told him to stack the 12oz on some cans in the shipper to make it worth the price of shipping. Something seasonal or allocated?

Carton 077xx is definitely at the top of the list, although NJ-only and a little hard to find, as it's dependent on canning/distro schedules.

Will throw another vote for Neshaminy Creek as well, specifically their JAWN (Juicy Ale with Nugget - technically an APA, but whatever) or Blitzkrieg Hops DIPA. Or if you want to wait a few weeks (possibly), their Shape of Hops to Come DIPA.

I think Conshohocken IPA is underrated, very solid IPA. And not sure if you get Cigar City up your way, but you can throw a stone and hit some Jai Alai around here. Just make sure it's fresh.

If you like pilsners, Stoudt's pils is one of the best, although I think they just started canning or are starting to soon? If not, Sly Fox Pikeland Pils is a good substitute.

For other ideas, check here - http://garagephilly.com/menu/ . They have one of the bigger can lists for bars in the city and would give you a good idea on distro.

Depends on where in NJ. If you can't get that much Carton (which is pretty rare and hard to get in large quantities), Spellbound IPA and Forgotten Boardwalk 1916 Shore Shiver IPA are also not bad (both South Jersey).

IF your friend can find it, Forgotten Boardwalk Funnel Cake, a cream ale, is also unique and pretty well liked. It's available at the brewery in Cherry Hill for sure, but you can sometimes find it in stores.

Village Idiot also does Crowlers, are available in certain places, and some of their beers are pretty good (I don't have enough experience with them to remember which ones:

Heres just a few more suggestions for canned IPA/IIPas that im pretty sure you dont get in Michigan...

    Terrapin- Hi-5 IPA
DC Brau- The Corruption (really solid east coast ipa)
    Troegs- Perpetual IPA
Smuttynose- Finest Kind IPA, newly in cans and one of my favorites

Tell him to be ready to ship more to you in the fall when Kane cans hit for Head High (and hopefully Overhead).
