DDH IPA w/ Simcoe and Azacca

 

I'm almost certain Grimm wouldn't label it as DDH.

 

Just going off the April post:

April releases (some may bleed into may)
Psychokinesis - dry hopped sour (bottles/draft)
BFF - hoppy tripel (bottles/draft)
Cuvee #4: Lemongrass, Chamomile, and Motueka -- barrel aged golden sour ale (draft only)
Magnetic Tape - double dry hopped single IPA w/motueka, mosaic (cans/draft)
Vacay - dry hopped sour with hops from germany and new zealand (bottles/draft)
Idaho 7 - DIPA featuring Idaho 7 hops. (draft only)
Halftone - double dry hopped single IPA with simcoe and azacca (cans/draft)
Mango Pop! - dessert berliner weisse with mangos, vanilla, and milk sugar (bottles)

it is dry hopped twice but it doesn't say DDH on the can. trying to get my terminology straight is hard

 

Indian as suggested sounds great.

I'm also thinking fish tacos, with the beer's mango acting as your chutney and acidity acting as your lime.

Or vanilla panna cotta, vanilla and cream/lactose matching in both the dessert and beer, but then the fruit in the beer hooking into the plain vanilla and acidity cutting the creaminess.

Currently sipping on Rainbow Dome, and damn this is my favorite Grimm sour so far!

 

Did WF Bowery ever get Magnetic Tape cans? Wondering if they will have bottles tomorrow...

Sometimes I wish I lived in NYC so I wouldn't have to keep trading my cellar away for Grimm beers. Plus a favorite restaurant is in NYC. Can't wait to visit NYC again when brewery/tap room open as it will definitely be a place I want to check out.

 

Does anyone know if Whole Food CC is expecting these today? I might try to run over and grab Mango Pop during lunch.

Availability update:

Half Tone, Liquid Crystal, Mango Pop! and Rainbow dome are starting to hit shelves in Remarkable Liquids territory today. That's basically anywhere in NY with the exception of the five boroughs and long island.

In Union's territory (NYC/Long Island) we were unable to get a dock appointment for the truck carrying Half Tone, Liquid Crystal, and two thirds of the Mango Pop bottles. So right now in the city Rainbow Dome should be available and one third of the Mango Pop, with the rest of Mango Pop plus Half Tone and Liquid Crystal delivering next week. It sucks but it is what it is.

 

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales my friend and I were just wondering when you guys are gonna put out a Robert Ashley themed beer? We are assuming you guys are fans, haha. Private Parts? Automatic Writing?

 

How could you do this to us?
