Making a trip in November. Any food or activity suggestions other than the typical. Gastropubs? Not too worried about finding good beer, not worth chasing on vacation. I'm content with mixed drinks or hard liquor. Thanks

Broken Boundary is my favorite brewery on the island. They have good Mexican food if you need/want to eat. Not just an IPA factory, but has a lot of styles. Love their Bread Pudding and just had a really nice ESB.

I went to UH Manoa back in the 80s. I miss the lau lau. It’s probably still good! I’d also recommend a convertible rental car regardless of the price difference. Makapu and Kailua are great quiet beaches for relaxing with a cold one
haha, you're funny. We already went to kauai a few years ago! It was awesome for sure. Now we wanted to visit another island . Appreciate the feedback. Thanks, hoping there will be new info - such as yours. thanks !
