I was in that area this weekend, you'll have to go farther north for HT. Only Sip of Sunshine makes it to one store every other week that far south, and it's 1 4pk per person.

 

I'll never understand why people ask here, Alchemist spells out their delivery schedule on their website.

While this is helpful, it doesn't spell out level of difficulty or experiences with lines/stores, which is why OP is posting here.

 

Locals can't even get "tons" of it, good luck.

They indicate which places sell by the case. I was up there the week leading to July 4th, so the lines were crazy and the people who worked there said that is usually the busiest week, but the summers are always busy. It's safe to say that anywhere that sells by the case, there will be a line, and you should get there about an hour before to be safe.

 

A lot of the places have the specific times listed on their websites. Just get there 1/2 - 1 hour early and get in line. You shouldn't have a problem getting a reasonable amount of Heady. I just did this about a month ago, so I'm speaking from 1st hand knowledge.

 

This time of year you have to be in line when the truck arrives at the locations that sell cases. In less touristy times of year (after summer before foliage or after skiing before summer) it lasts into the afternoon or next day sometimes.

 

I agree. I'm sick and tired of people coming on this site and asking questions about beer. It's getting ridiculous. But it is helpful for what this website really shout be all about. Shitting over people who ask questions about beer.

If what I said is "shitting over people", you've got some pretty thin skin. I did not in any way shape or form insult the guy, I said I will never understand why people ask a question that is extremely easy to find the answer to.

 

Tons aint gonna happen. Case and maybe a few 4 packs at best

 

Read through some of these recent threads, then check out heady spotter and see what days/ locations work for you. Then go from there. You will get better answers if you do a little research first and ask more specific questions or give us some more details. Good luck!

it's the fact that the question gets asked once a week, there are multiple topics on page one on the new england forum alone about it, and all it takes is an incredibly simple search to find the answers.

 

Going up in September, whats it like then? I just want some, not to be greedy, but I do want to bring some back for a friend, plus I want to try other stuff..

 

Well I'm not sure if your aware of this but some people don't check this site every day. maybe the guy didn't know it gets asked all the time. Let's assume he does know it gets asked all the time. What is his motivation to ask the question again? Is he doing it for giggles? Is he trying to waste everyone's time? Or is he looking for an answer that will make it easier for him to secure the beer he desires. Whatever the reason, just let the man ask his question and help him. If I'm standinding on the corner right next to a McDonalds and someone asks me if I know where a McDonald's is I'm not going to act like an asshole about it. I'm going to point and tell him it's right over there.

 

You know I have some ice cream in the freezer. When I went to the store today I saw some delicious looking Oreo ice cream sandwiches so I bought them. When I got home my wife asked "why did you buy ice cream sandwiches, you already had ice cream in the freezer.

 

There's a fucking search function for a reason. Or just look at the rest of New England page 1, where there are multiple other topics on this exact same thing. Unless you've never used the Internet, you've probably heard of a "search function". It's also safe to assume that, at some point in the past, someone may have asked how you get one of the most popular beers in the world.
